All Good Things Must Come To An End
Just over 11 and a half years ago, against all odds (a long story for another day), we opened Yummy Cafe. I won’t lie and say it was all sunshine and roses; it had its moments, with many ups and downs, some tears, and a lot of laughter. One constant has always been our incredible team, who went above and beyond and have stuck by us through it all. We are beyond thankful to them.
We also want to express our gratitude to our wonderful, loyal, and supportive customers, many of whom have become dear friends throughout the years ❤️.
Unfortunately, despite being constantly busy, the rising costs and recent challenges impacting small businesses have made it impossible for us to continue operating. While we have worked tirelessly to keep our doors open, we must accept that the current environment presents obstacles we can no longer overcome.
It is with deep sadness that we announce Yummy Cafe Market has ceased trading with immediate effect.
We understand that this announcement may come as a shock to many, and for that, we are truly sorry. This has been one of the most difficult decisions we’ve had to make, both as a business and as a family.
On that note, we want to say a massive heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you, including our wonderful family and friends. The last 11 and a half years would not have been possible without your incredible support and encouragement 🙏. We honestly couldn’t be more grateful and proud, albeit a little heartbroken right now 💔.
We will miss you all terribly, especially all the chats and the laughs—there were many! But please God, our paths will cross again somewhere down the line. For now, however, we just want to say:
