Heartiest congratulations to Conor Stapleton who was the winner of the €500 first prize in the Buster Draw at our fundraiser night!!! Cheers were heard all around the stadium when Conor's name was announced. A most popular and worthy winner as Conor is a wonderful parishioner, always there to help, giving his time so freely and generously. His quiet dedication never goes unnoticed and our Parish is all the better for having him at its heart. So well done Conor 👏 we are all thrilled for you.

A sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported our " Loughmore Goes to the Dogs" Fundraiser in aid of The Cottage and Loughmore National School.
Thanks to your amazing generosity kindness, support, and simply showing up on the night, the event was a huge success.
It was wonderful to see our community come together in such a positive and uplifting way. Your support has meant so much to us - we are so grateful to each and everyone who helped and supported in any way, especially our hardworking committee, sponsors, those who made donations, our ticket sellers, those who organised the raffle and auction, facepainting, and everyone who worked behind the scenes. Together we created something very special. We are thrilled to report that we made just over €16 000 in profit to share between The Cottage and The School. So once again THANK YOU.

One of our favourite annual events at The Cottage is the "Volkswagon Breakfast Roll "
We look forward to welcoming our Volkswagon friends to Loughmore and see their cars brighten our village with colour and beauty. It is a delight to see them all lined up in the village, bringing such joy to everyone
It is such a social day with friends from all over Ireland meeting, chatting all things Volkswagon and enjoying breakfast with us here at The Cottage. Hence the gathering is called "The Breakfast Roll "
Huge thanks to Cathal O'Toole for organising this much loved annual visit to The Cottage. We treasure all the friendships we have made with the Volkswagon community over the years.

Loughmore Drama Group presents: No Dinner for Sinners
A comedy by Edward Taylor

Jim Watt runs the London office of a stock exchange firm and is preparing to host an important dinner for his International Director, Bill McGregor, and his wife Nancy - prominent members of the strict Anti-Permissive Society. Knowing Bill strongly disapproves of unmarried couples living together, Jim persuades his girlfriend Helen to pose as his wife for the evening. Unfortunately, Helen is less than impressed and storms out, leaving Jim without a partner, a cook, or a plan.

After a series of desperate phone calls to former girlfriends fail, Jim is left with only one option - his eccentric cleaning lady, Edna - who agrees to help... for a price! Chaos ensues as Edna attempts to prepare an elaborate meal while entertaining the guests with religious conversation. Matters spiral further out of control when Helen returns unexpectedly - followed closely by Jim’s young personal assistant, Terri - both ready to play the role of his wife!

A fast-paced farce full of mistaken identities, quick-fire lies, and hilarious misunderstandings, as Jim desperately tries to save both the evening and his career.
