Front of House / Barista – Part-Time & Full-Time

The Auld Mill Bakery is looking for a hardworking, friendly and enthusiastic person to join our busy team! ☕🥐

This role involves:
• Serving customers
• Preparing coffees and hot drinks
• Handling customer orders
• Providing excellent customer service
• Working as part of a busy, fast-paced team

Evening and Saturday work is required.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, enthusiastic and able to work well under pressure. Previous experience is welcome but not essential, as full training will be provided to the right candidate.

⚠️ Please note: This position is not suitable for students.

Huge congratulations to our regular customer, Martin, on his incredible achievement today—climbing Slievenamon over 1,000 times!

🚧 Road Closure – Please Support Local 🚧

From Monday, 13th July to Friday, 31st July, the N76 will be closed daily from 7:00am to 8:00pm for resurfacing works.

Despite the disruption, The Auld Mill Bakery will remain OPEN and ready to welcome all our customers.

We have to be honest—we are incredibly frustrated by this closure. Closing approximately 30km of the N76 will have a serious impact on local businesses, residents, and everyone who relies on this route. It simply doesn't make sense to us, and we are far from happy about it.

We also want to clarify that this road closure is not a decision made by our local County Council. Unfortunately, this situation is completely out of our hands, and we had no say in it. Like many other local businesses, we will be feeling the effects over the coming weeks.

If you can make your way to us during the roadworks, we would genuinely appreciate your support. Every visit, every coffee, every loaf, and every purchase makes a real difference to our small, family-run business.

Please share this post to help spread the word that The Auld Mill Bakery is OPEN throughout the road closure.

A very special visitor to the bakery today as President Catherine Connolly popped into The Auld Mill Bakery on her way to Clonmel.

The President enjoyed a coffee, picked up some of our delicious seeded brown bread, and took the time to chat with staff and customers. It was a real pleasure to welcome her and her team.
