A new era is coming for Hooked restaurant with the announcement of Jafar Toya as Head Chef. Originally from Sudan, Jafar brings new ideas with fresh flavours and brilliant positivity to the team that he always had . Jafar brings a wealth of knowledge and experience having worked his way up the ladder over the past 14 years from his days in Tra Bán Eala Bhán to Hooked and we are all very proud to see him progress to this moment. Personally for me it’s a very proud achievement. Jafar has been more like a brother than an amazing Chef 👩‍🍳 and we all at Hooked are wishing him all the best. 🤛

Over the moon to Win Best Destination Bar Connacht .At the Irish Bar and Cocktail Awards tonight in the Mount Wolseley Hotel Carlow . Our fantastic GM Danilo Uache was on hand to collect this award and bring it back to Sligo 🥇This award for the best destination bar typically recognizes a bar /restaurant that attracts visitors because of its unique atmosphere, location,drinks ,hospitality, and cultural significance because of its exceptional hospitality and unique interior 💥
