Hi to you all and I hope you and your families are all well and surviving this pandemic:)

It’s hard to believe it’s been 12 months since we closed our doors and was to be our last day trading ... who would have guessed ! Certainly not us . It has been a strange time and a lot has happened, for me it was a gift because of family circumstances and it was wonderful to be where I was needed during this time ....

So on this note here’s wishing all the “ Mammys “ a happy Mother’s Day and to the rest Happy St.Patrick’s Day

It's taken awhile but here it is .On behalf of Maureen and myself we want to say a massive THANK YOU TO ALL OUR CUSTOMERS & STAFF for the amazing support and loyalty over the past 18 years.We had some fantastic times and had the privilege of catering for some wonderful events which included,
THE WORLD RALLY.PRINCE CHARLES ROYAL VISIT,FLEADH CEOLS,JAZZ FESTIVAL,NEW WINE,GRADUATIONS,STAFF CONFERENCES,SCOR ALL IRELAND to name but a few.

Our journey at WHEATS began in 2002 in The Aula now Student Services.As the years went on the business expanded to the Knocknarea Arena then The Hub ( by default) but which ended up being a very successful venture.....and Engineering.

ON 13th March -everything changed when Covid struck. Little did we think when the news bulletin came on that day that it was to be our last time trading.........
After much thought and deliberation we realised we had no option but to close the business. We were gutted for ourselves & our amazing ,wonderful loyal staff who stuck with us through the good days and bad. Wheats was our baby that we had nurtured and poured blood ,sweat ,tears and many long hours into. It was heartbreaking making the call and has taken this long to put pen to paper but from both of us to ALL of you "THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF HEARTS".We would like to wish all of you and your families good health and positive energy during these crazy times.Hopefully our paths will cross again soon.
