Asian fusion on the menu for dinner for the next 3 weeks starting Friday from 5:30 following the success of the Italian menu we put out recently!

has plenty of experience with Asian fusion so thought it would be fun to do this summer to mix it up!

This weekend only, we’re teaming up with The Rock Bakery — & — for a special collaboration menu built around great produce! Myself and Pearce are childhood friends so it makes it that bit more special for me ❤️

The lads in The Rock Bakery have been a great support of Root since day one so to be able to collaborate together has been a long time coming and we’re buzzing to finally bring it to life. A beautiful set menu, some fun additional surprises, and the kind of atmosphere that only comes from cooking with old friends 🍽️

Two sittings each night:
5:30 / 6:00
7:30 / 8:00

Started this journey just over 3 years ago with the clearing out of our location from harvest energy + about 4 tonne bags full of cable from the track hidden in the suspended ceiling! Thank you to for the much needed fuel to keep going 🍺

I kept 2 nights in the bus bar while I worked pretty much everyday in Root trying to get it ready with a lot of help from friends and local tradesmen. P

Took us 4 months longer than we thought and an extra chunk of money from my mam and dad and at one point, didn’t think I’d see it through! Defo one of the toughest stages of my life

But I’m proud to see how far we’ve come with the place, how it ended up looking and I hope to see it become a mainstay in my hometown of skerries

As always, a massive thank you to everyone who comes in and supports us, it means the world to me to see smiles on faces and hear all the kind words people have to say after sitting down and eating with us ❤️

We will be doing 3 weekends of an absolutely stunning Italian menu for our dinners curated by

Will have some aperol spritz on the go on the night and we might sneak some garlic bread on the menu also to mop up all the sauce 👀 (mainly for me)

Hey guys, has whipped up another stunning menu that’ll run for the next couple of weeks!
The dish I have pictured here is from our Valentine’s Day menu which was a huge favourite across the 3 evenings. So much so that we decided to add it as a main for this menu!
