Hello everyone. Finally getting use to the idea of not going to the cafe everyday. It's been an adjustment.
Quick note to say that we miss ye all. That the plans for new venture are moving forward... more on this to follow.

And finally to let ye know that Artisan Cuisine is the company that will be taking over in the next few weeks. If you wish you can check out their website. It's a big operation and I'm sure they will look after ye well. Best wishes to Noel and the gang.

Anyway I wish everyone a very healthy and happy New Year.

Thanks for all your custom. Thanks to Maura and the team in K Leisure for hosting us for last 2 years and to everyone who worked(especially Wabee) or helped out or sang, danced, laughed or even cried in the Salamander. It will live long in the memory even though if was only 4 years !! I had great fun. !

Dear Customers
New opportunities are calling for both Wabee and I......
So the Salamander Coffee House is closing its doors on Friday 7th December -
Wabee is finishing up on the 27th November to take a new position as manager of the cafe in

The BIGGEST THANK YOU to Wabee Roche who has been part of the show since we opened and without whom the Salamander would probably not run as smoothly, definitely would not be as organised and then there is the Baking - brown bread to cakes and everything in between.

To all our loyal customers, family and friends thank you for all your love and support over the last 4 years - we have loved the craic and banter with ye both on George Street and in K-Leisure.

Finally thank you Karen, Ciara, Sarah and Kate - and especially Michaela, Nikayla, Niamh, PJ, Aisling, Rachel, Caoimhe and Ingrid.
