Update: road isn’t as bad as earlier but extreme caution still advised as water and slush on roads likely to freeze tonight, causing slippery surfaces.

Please avoid the use of the New Ross Bypass where possible as traffic has nearly come to a standstill due to vehicles coming into difficulty.
