The Emu, native to Australia is one of the largest birds in the world. They have a diverse diet consisting of seeds, fruits, vegetables and insects. They have a lifespan of 20+ years. Pictured is our pair of Emu’s. We have raised them since they were a couple of weeks old. They are currently 3 years old. Come along and say hello to Sydney and Darwin the next time you visit

On Saturday we took a trip to Omagh Show, we brought a selection of our various breeds of poultry and they done very well. 17 rosettes made the trip home to the Cabin. Make sure to follow our poultry page to see how we got on over the summer.
