Grounds for Gratitude…

Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming Luke, Rachel, and their beautiful baby girl Bonnie back to Brú Columbanus for a very special cheque presentation. Bonnie was born at just 31 weeks and spent three weeks in the Neonatal Unit at CUH before being transferred to Waterford - an incredibly emotional and challenging time for any family.

During those early days, Luke and Rachel stayed with us here at Brú Columbanus, and we were honoured to be able to offer them a “home from home” when they needed it most.

Now, they’ve chosen to give back in the most meaningful way.

With the help of their friend "Coffee by King", who hosted a lovely coffee morning at Ferrybank GAA in Waterford, they raised an incredible €2,250 in support of Brú Columbanus.

Their generosity - and the kindness of everyone who contributed - will help us continue supporting other families facing similar journeys.

From all of us at Brú Columbanus, thank you Luke, Rachel, Bonnie, and everyone involved. You’ve touched our hearts, and we’re so grateful for you.

**Sandra’s Sausage Sizzler**

We are excited to say the G4MO will hold a fundraiser at the club grounds to coincide with our very own Sandra’s brave head shave all in aid of The Irish Cancer Society.

Sandra is an active member of our Gaelic for Mothers and Others/Rounders team and has always been a great supporter to every mad idea we have had so far!

Now we think that this is by far the craziest but absolutely bravest fundraising effort we have ever heard.

We will be serving Sausage Blaas at Coffee By King on Saturday Morning the 16th of November.

All we ask is a CASH DONATION to this wonderful charity.

We will also hold a raffle on the morning.

Please support and spread the word far and wide !
