Hi all,

Unfortunately Galileo Café, Mitchelstown will be temporarily closed until further notice. We would like to thank the local community as well as our customers for their continued support throughout this difficult period.

However, Galileo Café in both Cahir and Clonmel will remain open. Below are the numbers for these restaurants if you wish to book a table.

We have updated our sit-in, take-away and lunch menus!! Lots of new and delicious dishes to be ordered! 😍
Unfortunately, we are not serving half dish pastas any more, but you can take the rest of the dish home with you if you don’t finish all of it!

We are delighted to announce that we will be reopening with some exciting renovations on Wednesday 15th July!

We ask that you sanitise your hands when you enter, and that you please wait to be seated.

We will also be asking for contact details to abide by contact training regulations.

Our takeaway service will also continue as normal.

As directed by the Taoiseach yesterday, Galileos will be enforcing new health and safety regulations to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 Virus.
For instance, all staff is now wearing disposable gloves which are frequently changed.
All cutlery will be reset once you arrive, including serviettes to ensure they are not contaminated.
All surfaces, including door handles, are sanitized regularly.
We would appreciate if everyone could wait to be seated as a table may be cleared but not disinfected by staff yet.
Finally, our desserts are covered to prevent contamination.
We would also like to ask all customers to be mindful of the guidelines set by the HSE in relation to sneezing, coughing and hand washing.

Thank you for your patience during this difficult time and I hope we can all work together to beat COVID-19 Virus.
