There was something really special about seeing so many of our neighbours together under one roof.
A few weeks ago, we dropped 200 invitations through the doors of homes closest to Fork & Wheel and invited our neighbours in for a Community Night. We honestly didn’t know what to expect, but almost 190 people joined us on the night.
And what a night it was.
Neighbours catching up, people meeting for the first time and others reconnecting who hadn’t seen each other in years. Plenty of food and drinks, a brilliant raffle and, most importantly, a room full of conversation and laughter.
It was also a chance for our local community to meet some of our new management team, alongside plenty of familiar Fork & Wheel faces.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a special evening. Nights like this are exactly what we want Fork & Wheel to be about. A place that feels part of the community around us.
