New exhibition on our Art Space 👉🏻Grow Wild by Seán Cleary👈🏻 Seán Cleary is a printmaker and illustrator based in Dundalk, whose work is driven by a deep passion for wildlife, storytelling, and mythology. Rooted in a strong connection to the natural world, his practice explores the delicate relationship between humans, imagination, and ecology.
Much of Seán’s work centres on wildlife and environmental awareness. His recent children’s book, Grow Wild, was created in collaboration with schoolchildren across County Louth. The project encouraged young people to engage with and nurture their local ecology, reflecting the artist’s belief in the importance of education, curiosity, and care for the natural world.
The prints presented in this exhibition imagine a world where fantasy creatures—such as mermaids—exist alongside us. Through this idea, Seán invites viewers to reflect on how humans respond to the unknown and the extraordinary. Historically, animals like elephants, whales, and rhinos were once regarded with mythic fascination, a perception that contributed more to their exploitation than their protection. By blending mythology with ecological themes, his work gently questions whether wonder leads us to protect, or to possess, the rare and the magical.

Over 30 years following the Louth senior footballers the length and breadth of the country for Leagues, Championships, O'Byrne cups I had like many fans before me resigned myself to accept Leinster glory was unattainable for our wee county, 2010 our last stolen chance. Yet this current squad of now Louth legends had other ideas and so this week thanks to one of those legends Conall McKeever I finally got my hands on the Delaney cup. Huge thanks to Conall for bringing the cup in to us. Thanks to all the current squad and indeed every player who wore the red and white of Louth from 57 on and helped keep the flame alive.

We are also delighted to be a sponsor of the players fund with this fantastic signed jersey that will be displayed proudly in the cafe.
