A taste of what's been ordered this week.
New Pumpkin spice has been added to our syrups, trust me it's fab, I've just added it to my Hot chocolate.... Very seasonal.....
Veg soup and tomato soup were a big hit as the weather changed this week. But sausage rolls and pasties are still a huge hit.

Thank you to everyone that came to visit us and the museum this week, it has been great hearing all the stories. What amazing retailers we have our there.

Join us for a night at the museum, an exclusive evening celebrating the history of retail from the 1950s through to the 1990s. Explore how our high streets, local shops, and shopping habits have evolved over the years while reminiscing about the stores and traditions that shaped our community. 

Whether you remember the corner shop of the 1950s or have fond memories of shopping in the 1990s, toy shop this promises to be a warm welcoming evening for families, friends, and anyone with a love of shopping and history. Why not tell us your stories too.

'A unique Destination' ' It's just like my local shop was back in the day' ' I remember.....'.
These are just some of the comments from visitors.
A little recap of how far we've come with the shop recreations in the last 6-8 months.
We still can't believe we have got to where we are today.
As we head into our 12th week from first opening our doors in early July 2026, we are unbelievable greatful to the support we have received so far, but we still have so much to build in this museum,cafe & shop,

So please do come and be part of what we are building, The local corner shop was once such a big part of the community, let's make Retail Therapy a big part of our community too.
