Our coffee is supplied by the world wide renowned Robert Roberts who boast the finest arabica beans for over a century. They also provide us with the finest range of teas which allow us to in turn, to give the best to our valued customers. We have a selection of;

Drinks are served from the evening onwards. But we try and combine the best of both worlds by offering a delicious Irish coffee throughout the day. Try our new desert; a warm chocolate muffin with ice cream, topped with sprinkles and a sauce of choice. At Nelly's Corner we are dedicated to supporting local craftsmen. We host a mini market which deals in jewelry, t-Shirts and paintings. Please leave us a message if you would like to advertise any of your wares in store. Or contact us if you would like to inquire about hosting an event. We will provide a venue for local artists and for good causes. We hope to become a place for the community and to help breath new life into the old Limerick - Nicholas Street area.

To all our friends and customers,
It is with great sadness that we have to announce that this will be our last week here at Nelly’s Corner. It breaks our hearts to have to leave but we have been beaten into submission by those who will stand to profit from all our hard work and the vision we had to put a restaurant at this location. Alas, sometimes Life is just not fair and it’s always the small guy who gets screwed.
We have had no Gas since February but we struggled through the last few months with a partial kitchen. Unfortunately, with the onset of winter , and not having any central heating, it is going to be the cold that will eventually break us.
We, Noreen and Dave and all the staff at Nelly’s, would like to sincerely thank all our customers for their support throughout the last few years. We have made some great friends here and we are going to miss you all terribly. Hopefully, some of you will be able to call in over the next few days and we can say our goodbyes then. It will be lonesome but it is going to have to be done.

Hi Everyone,
It was a pretty nice day in Limerick today and there was lots of tourists in the area.Once again, this is what they saw on Athlunkard St. as they made their way to the Cathedral and the Castle. What must they be saying about us when they get home.
Not just visitors,but locals including young mothers with buggies and our OAP's have to step onto the street to avoid this mess. It's only a matter of time before someone trying to make the traffic lights goes thru the junction too fast and won't be able to avoid someone on the street. It could be your Mother, Father, Child or grandchild.
Several people came into Nellys today to complain and each time we had to explain that it was nothing to do with us.You can tell by their expression that they are skeptical.It does reflect badly on the restaurant eventhough there is absolutely nothing we can do.
We are tired of reporting this and being ignored. This is the last time we are going to post anything on this subject, so it's up to the people of Limerick to start making noise and get the authorities to act.
Please share this to as many people as you can and make as many complaints as you can to Limerick City Council.

Its Friday evening and once again raw sewerage is flowing onto a main street in Limerick City. Tourists are actually having to walk through this disgusting mess on their way to St. Mary's Cathedral. We have made three phonecalls to Limerick City Council this week and we feel that we are being ignored and being fobbed off with the assurance that somebody will call us back.
Again, we would like to state that this has nothing to do with Nelly's Corner but is coming from the building overhead where we believe that approx. 12 people have recently moved in.That's 12 people living in a building that until recently was derelict. There is no way that this building is fit for purpose, it doesn't even have a fire escape.
There is no way that this would be allowed anywhere else in the country and it's probably because we are slow to report this type of thing. We would urge everyone to ring the "out of hours number" 061 417833 and voice your complaint.
Keep Limerick Clean !!!!!!!!!!

Raw sewerage starting to flow onto Athlunkard St. once again. More and more people moving into the building which will mean the problem will only get worse. Surely the Council should prevent anyone living up there until the sewers have been passed fit for purpose. And the Smell ! My God, how can I describe the smell. How long more do we have to put up with this?
