Derreen Garden Cafe will be closed on 29 April. The garden will be open as normal in the morning but the road will be closed from 1pm for The Rally of the Lakes. Cafe and garden open as normal on Sunday

We will open again tomorrow and hopefully stay open until 1st November. Look forward to seeing you there!

DERREEN SEASON TICKET HOLDERS.

Dear Season Ticket holders,

We have changed our season tickets arrangement.
In order to simplify everything, we now have one renewal date for everyone.

Season tickets will renew every year on 1st May

Your season ticket whenever you buy it will run out on April 30th 2024. If you have already renewed your season ticket this year you will not need to renew again until 1st May 2024. Please come in to the café to renew your ticket next time you are in the garden and we will also offer you a free cup of coffee.

After careful thought we have decided we need to increase the amount we charge for our season tickets. As well as the overall inflation level that we are all painfully aware of, we have done a review of what other gardens charge for season tickets and have realised that we have been significantly undercharging.

Season Ticket Prices May ’23 – April ‘24

Couple €60
Family €70

If you are a season ticket holder please make sure we have your email address and as part of your pass we will invite you to one garden tour with coffee and cake.
Please make sure your email address is legible!

Thank you very much for your support, we very much enjoy having you here and your season ticket helps us keep the garden looking as good as we can and I hope the garden brings you much pleasure.

The Garden Café will be open again on Saturday & Sunday next weekend. Hope to see you then. In the meantime, Derreen Garden is open every day, 10am - 6pm.

Garden Café will not open Sat. 28th of May (Garden OPEN) but open as usual Sunday 29th, 11-5pm café & 10-6pm garden. Such AMAZING weather …have a great weekend!

Pine marten , red squirrel , Irish hare , otter , seals , kingfisher , sea eagle , to mention but a few , all regularly seen at Derreen. We now have a Wildlife Record Book , to be found in the Garden Café , so if you have a sighting , please enter it !
