After almost 21yrs of pulling pints, swapping stories and watching generations grow up across the bar itβs time for Ger & myself to say goodbye.
Running the Foxes Den has been one of the greatest privileges of our lifeβs.This wasnβt just a job, it was a calling, a community and often a front row seat to the best and occasionally the wildest parts of village life. We have also seen lots of sadness and those who are no longer with us will be forever in our hearts. Through all these times what made the place special was you.
To every customer who walked or even cycled π through our doors whether once or a thousand times thank you. Thank you for your loyalty your laughter your patience and your stories and for allowing us to become part of your lifeβs, you made this pub a home.
To our amazing staff past and present youβve been the heart and soul of the place thank you.
While we are stepping away we leave knowing that our new leasee Martin Forristal who has many years of experience under his belt will do a great job.
We are not disappearing but the time feels right in our lives to start a new chapter. We will take with us a lifetime of memories and hope the foxes den continues to mean as much to you as it has to us. We wish Martin and family the very best in his next chapter.
