Husseys Bar

Husseys Bar Family owned traditional Irish Pub in High Street, Killarney Co. Kerry, Ireland. Husseys Pub is a traditional Irish pub in Killarney Co.

It dates back to the latter part of the nineteenth century and is situated at the top of the town in High Street, surrounded by some of the best restaurants in town. Many pubs claim the traditional tag but this is the real thing with red and black quarry tiles on the floor, wooden boards on the ceiling, pitch pine wainscoting along the walls and an open fire. It even has its own little snug for th

ose that may want that extra bit of privacy. Old Guinness advertising posters spanning many years adorn the walls. It is a popular haunt with local Killarney people where the horses, jockeys and trainers in the racing programme are discussed and analysed daily before the trip to the bookies down the street to back the winners. Politics, gaelic football, hurling, soccer, golf and many other sports all feature in conversation over some of the best pints of Guinness in town. Stories of old glories and times gone by in Killarney regularly get an airing. Visitors are always assured of a friendly welcome and get the best of local knowledge from those that know all that there is to know about Killarney. Ideas are discussed, plans are made, love stories begin, songs are sung, friendships develop, people meet and events are celebrated in this little haven of relaxation at the top of Killarney town. Whatever your tipple, Husseys Pub is one those special little places – a real Kerry Gem and well worth a visit.

Ok so we dont have a jumbotron....but if you’re after a cosy spot to watch the match, chat a bit, and gently question the ref’s eyesight — we’ve got you covered.

The game will be on, the pints will be flowing, and there’s always room for a bit of sideline commentary from the barstools 😉

Up the Kingdom 💚💛 — see you later for the throw-in!

Regretfully we will remain closed today, but The Little Engine That Could will be back tomorrow 🚂!
