The Back Lounge at DHYC

The Back Lounge at DHYC Saturdays will never be the same again. The Back Lounge is an exciting new youth space for Kilkenny. All Secondary school students welcome.

Based in the old theatre of Desart Hall, the Back Lounge is the ideal place to hide out during the winter months and grab a hot cuppa and some tasty eats.

Just got word that a finnish duo will be playing down in the hall at 3.30pm this afternoon ! If you are free come and check them out, as usual the cafe will be open from 1.30pm - 5.30pm :D

Sadly we have just had a last minute cancellation from Unofficial Witnesses ! But Prosthetics will still be playing at 3.30pm tomorrow in the hall !

Only 3 days till Prosthetics and Unofficial Witness are playing a FREE* GIG on our nearly 100 year old stage (factoid , you've been educated ) So come on down , grab some food and have your socks rocked off *** But please politely put them back on because we don't wanna clean up yo feet gloves !
