“I’m Jana, originally from Germany, now based in Co. Kilkenny.
I’ve always been interested in puzzling the pieces of reality together, rather than dividing them into categories. So, that said, I wouldn’t really call myself an “artist”, although I started working professionally in my studio about a year ago.
I draw, paint, write - all those things. But what I like most about this work of mine is having the space to learn while working. I listen to stories that make my mind grow. I listen to music that makes my heart grow.
I’m fascinated by the endless questions life seems to have, and by how following them can take you far beyond what you thought you knew - only to bring you back home, a little closer than you were before.”
