Today was our final service at St. Kieran’s Street. Thank you to all for your support and patronage of Higgs Field over the past four months. Please keep following us on social media, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated on future pop-up and re-opening plans.

We’re grateful to have had the chance to connect with Kilkenny’s community of farmers, foragers, food lovers, and friends, and we look forward to sharing a meal together again soon!

It’s our final weekend of service at St. Kieran’s Street and Dinner reservations are filling up (almost full on Saturday night). Drop by to visit us tonight (Thursday), Friday and Saturday from 7-10pm. Brunch from 11am-3pm on Saturday and Sunday (final service!).

Today we announce bittersweet news. Our last day of Higgs field service at St. Kieran’s Street will be Sunday, August 27th.

Conor and his partner are awaiting the arrival of a new member to their growing family. In light of this, we've made the difficult decision of closing the doors of Higgs field for a few months. While this closure comes with a mix of emotions, hopefully it will allow us the opportunity to recharge, refocus and return with even greater passion and creativity.

We are immensely grateful for your support and patronage of Higgs field and we’ll be sure to keep you updated on future re-opening plans. We’ve been delighted by your response and enthusiasm for local, sustainable, farm-to-table vegetarian dining here in Kilkenny.

We are also grateful for current owners, Rory and Laura Gannon, and Cakeface, who championed our launch here on St Kieran’s Street.

Please drop by Higgs field to visit us for brunch and dinner this weekend and next - we’d love to see you and say hello. Dinner Thursday - Saturday 7-10pm and Brunch Saturday and Sunday 11am-3pm.

Yep, we have coffee. We chose the French press as it’s the most sustainable and energy efficient method of brewing. The French press might not be the most familiar for folks, but for us, these little efforts mean a lot.

Stop in for a cuppa during weekend brunch from 11-3. (Dinner Thursday to Saturday 7-10.)

One of our most popular brunch items: the breakfast roll. Handmade roll, scrambled eggs, smoky cabbage, wild garlic mayo, and handmade crisps. Pairs perfectly with crispy potatoes and a morning coffee. (And can also be ordered for takeaway!)
