As local as it gets 🦞

We’re proud to say that every lobster served here in Oc*****sy Seafood Tapas Bar is caught within 5 kilometres of the restaurant by local fishermen Brian Farren and Gerry Carty.

That’s not “from somewhere along the coast” — that’s properly local, straight from our own waters around Howth.

We’re building up our quirky little banknote collection and we’re on the hunt for old notes, low-value notes, foreign notes, or those poor forgotten ones that are long out of circulation and living at the bottom of a drawer.

Before you fling them out, bring them into us.

If it’s one we don’t already have, we’ll happily reward your generosity with a complimentary glass of wine 🍷

Advanced warning Sorry folks — we’re closed for a couple of days. Tues 24th + Wed 25th
There’s a bit of painting and freshening happening at Oc*****sy Seafood Tapas Bar… though if Sean’s doppelganger (uncanny resemblance to Brad Pitt, we’re not saying a word) happens to lure us off for a day’s sciving, who could blame us?

A lick of paint, a tidy-up, and maybe a small adventure.

We were already fully booked… and then The Irish Times review landed. 😅
Timing is everything.
We’re beyond delighted with the beautiful write-up about Oc*****sy Seafood Tapas Bar — honestly, it means so much to our small but mighty crew.
That said… the “No Availability” sign was up before the ink was even dry. So if you’ve been trying to get a table, we promise we’re not being mysterious — you’ve just all beaten each other to it.
Very grateful. Very proud. Very full.
