Dear friends, neighbours and cherished customers,
After six memorable years, The Homeplace Café will be closing its doors at 3pm on Saturday January 17th.
Since opening in 2019, this little café has been more than a place to eat and drink — it has been a gathering spot, a creative space, and a home filled with laughter, music and stories. None of it would have been possible without your loyalty, your conversations, and the community you helped us build.
This decision has not been easy. Over time, circumstances changed and we reached a point where we felt it was the right moment to bring this chapter to a close. While we won’t be continuing in the café, we will always be grateful for every person who walked through our doors, shared a meal, supported our events, or simply stopped for a chat.
Thank you — for the kindness, the encouragement, and the memories that will stay with us long after the lights go out.
A special thanks to all staff past and present who went above and beyond and became part of our little family. Thanks for all the memories.
We hope The Homeplace Café will be remembered fondly, and we carry forward the spirit of warmth, creativity and connection that you helped nurture here.
