Market House Festival Weekend is here! This weekend, Gorey comes alive in a celebration of music, arts, community and the rich history that makes our town so special.

At Brownes, we’re proud to be part of that story. With a history stretching back to 1798 and a pub standing on this very corner for even longer. We’ve welcomed generations through our doors, each adding another chapter to Gorey’s story.

There’s an ancestral connection between Ed Sheeran & Brownes Through the Mulligan family, making tonight’s Ed Sheeran tribute a fitting way to celebrate. Ed has often spoken warmly about his love for Gorey and his family’s connections here, making the occasion all the more special.

Whether you’re here for the music, the arts, the stories, or simply the atmosphere, we’re delighted to welcome you to Brownes as we celebrate everything that makes Gorey unique.
