***Meet the Team***

Let us introduce you to one of our chefs, Ana Julia de Oliveira. Originally form Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Ana arrived in Ireland in 2022 to improve her English. As many people do, she fell in love with the country and also the cuisine. Ana started working in the hospitality industry and joined the team of Cava Bodega in March 2025. She is a fantastic addition to the Cava Bodega team. Last year she started her four year programme of Gastronomy Science at ATU. We wish her the very best with her studies. Outside of working in the kitchen, Ana enjoys painting, hiking, travelling and learning new languages.

One Night Only: Summer Tasting Menu

This Thursday May 14th we are bringing the sunshine flavours of Spain to the fresh and seasonal local ingredients of Galway with a special Summer Tasting Menu.

Head chef Davi dos Santos has curated a special 6 course menu that is guaranteed to delight the taste buds. Expect Manchego stuffed olives, anchovies and tomato pinchos, courgette and tomato salad, octopus with mussels, beef cheek with patatas bravas and sheep yoghurt, blood orange and ice cream.

Our front of house team has perfectly paired these courses with matching Spanish wines. You can enjoy cava to start, followed by white and red wine and a sherry to end.
