Owned and operated by Jp McMahon and Drigín Gaffey, who also own Cava Bodega and Tartare Cafe + Wine Bar, Aniar was awarded a Michelin Star in 2013. This supreme culinary achievement recognises the restaurant's effort to pursue innovation through the prism of traditional techniques of preservation. The kitchen is lead by chef patron Jp McMahon. Jp heads up a passionate culinary team committed to the local and the wild in contemporary Irish cooking. His small culinary team are ever attentive to new and exciting foraged elements that come daily to the door of the restaurant.
