Last weekend I felt like everything I had done had finally come to fruition after all
🌸 🌸🌸🌸🌸
Was challenging weekend but here is what we accomplished in three days:
"Akumakon🧛♀️"
A non profit anime event run by students of the University of Galway.
It has become one of Ireland's most iconic anime events.
The first event in 2011 attracted 200 visitors, and this year it attracted 3,000 people from both Ireland and abroad!
The venue was filled with excitement as both adults and children wore cosplay.
At the closing ceremony, it was announced that 16,000 euros had been raised for charity! Akumakon guys worked very hard!
The Japanese culture corner, presented by Japanese residents, was also a huge success. It was wonderful to see people so excited about Japanese cultural activities.
Also very happy to see everyone eating sushi with Nori so deliciously.
Akumakon became a place meeting new friends as well as old friends. This is great😊😊😊
"Hosting Lunch Meeting for Japanese Ambassador 🇯🇵 🇮🇪 "
Great honored to serve new ambassador Mr&Mrs Miyagawa, Deputy Mayor of Galway & officials from government. 2027 is the 70th anniversary 🇯🇵 🇮🇪
Our Chef Paddy👨🍳 made elegant Omakase emphasizing on Irish seafood 🐟 🍣 ✨
"Valentine's Day Dinner 🌹"
It was our busiest day yet. happy to be selected for our customers special day! ♥️
Our happiest WA SUSHI team worked together as one.🥇🎉
"Market 🍣 "
Started working from 5am instead of 7am for this special day. Made over 1000 rolls for this weekend!! Maybe Nana👩🍳made half of the rolls 🍣 🤩
Market team did a great job selling despite the hail stone 🌨️💪
I can not mention all of the peoples name here but it was an amazing experience to work with all and achieved such great results👏👏👏👏👏
Tonight, I will allow myself to say, "well done! " with gratitude to everyone who worked with.. we worked hard and grown together and each of us has become professionals and achieved such wonderful results. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🫶
