A staggering number!!! Together with 7 other coffee shops in Fermoy we are working to dramatically reduce this, but we need your help.
A Deposit and Return initiative will roll out over the next few weeks with an official launch over the weekend of 12th April.
🥇The idea is simple.
1️⃣ When you buy a takeaway hot drink you pay a deposit of €2 for your 2GoCup.
2️⃣ When you finish your coffee or at the end of the day/week, you can hand this cup back to any of the participating businesses in town (or nationwide) and get your €2 back.
☕ If you want a second or even a third😉cuppa during the day, just hand in your 2GoCup and the cuppa you buy will be in a clean 2GoCup
💡Alternatively, you can bring the cup home, give it a rinse out and you are all set for the next day’s cuppa.
(Naturally there is no pressure to use a 2GoCup. If you are already using a Keep up, thank you and continue to bring it in)
