In 1999, Eileen Dunne and Stefano Crescenzi opened the doors of their now critically acclaimed Italian restaurant.

Born of a love of the finest Italian flavours, Dunne and Crescenzi began as a small wine and cheese alimentari, supplying artisan produce to Dublin over a bruschetta and coffee, or some salumi. But Dublin got the Italian bug...
It soon became obvious that this was not enough. The neighbouring buildings were purchased, gorgeous dark wooden tables were brought in - although the walls were left stocked to the ceiling with wines, cheeses and olive oils to name but a few items. The highest quality Italian cooks were sourced, Italian waiters sashaying between the tables, gentle Italian music playing in the background...
Dunne and Crescenzi has become a byword for the Italian experience.
