🎸 THE LEGENDS ARE BACK AT TOALES! 🎸

JACK McAULEY & ROD DEMICK return to Toales for a very special live Sunday afternoon!

Jack McAuley — ex-THEM, the legendary Belfast band that launched the career of Van Morrison. Jack shared the stage during Them’s incredible 1960s era, alongside names including Van Morrison, Billy Harrison, Alan Henderson, Eric Wrixon, Pat McAuley, Peter Bardens and Jim Armstrong.

And Rod Demick brings his own extraordinary musical history — from Belfast’s The Wheels to working with Jim McCarty and becoming part of the Yardbirds’ 1992 reunion line-up, alongside Chris Dreja and John Idan.

Mr Brightside returns to Toales for a free Saturday night show

Popular Dundalk performer Mr Brightside returns to Toales Rock Bar & Live Venue on Saturday, August 29, for another late-night set packed with familiar favourites.

Armed with an acoustic guitar and a crowd-friendly catalogue, Mr Brightside has become a familiar face on the local live circuit, regularly performing around Dundalk and previously appearing at Toales. His shows are built for a Saturday night crowd, mixing well-known rock, pop and singalong classics in a lively, stripped-back style.

It promises to be a relaxed, no-frills night of live music in the bar, with free admission and no tickets required—just turn up, grab a drink and settle in for the show.

Mr Brightside plays Toales, Dundalk, on Saturday, August 29. The music starts at 10pm and admission is completely free.

Pixie & Friends bring a colourful summer send-off to Toales

Toales Live Venue will wave goodbye to summer in style on Friday 28 August with Pixie & Friends, a lively evening of original music, creativity and independent traders.

Heading the bill is Pixie Nova, whose distinctive sound blends celestial R&B and indie-pop with psychedelic jazz and alternative soul influences. Her track Mars Rover previously earned recognition from Irish music site Nialler9, which described her as “an exciting presence in Ireland’s emerging music scene.”

Pixie Nova will be joined by Dublin singer-songwriter Chantal Holland and A.C.E, completing a varied three-artist line-up built around fresh voices and original music. Holland has been writing songs and playing piano from an early age, developing her craft through performances around Dublin and beyond.

There will be plenty happening away from the stage too, with a mini market and pop-up area featuring White Crow Jewellery, piercings, free temporary tattoos and more throughout the night.

Pixie & Friends takes place at Toales, Dundalk, on Friday 28 August from 7.30pm until 11pm. Admission is just €5, with tickets available at the door. Pixie Nova Chantal Holland a c e #

Fireside Sessions returns to Toales, Dundalk on Thursday 27 August with two distinctive local songwriters, Eoin Miller and Keith Dwyer.

Formerly the drummer with Manchester indie-rock band My Albatross, Eoin Miller has since developed a varied solo sound spanning acoustic pop, indie, country and rockabilly. Now working towards his debut album, his growing catalogue includes the singles Don’t Be Lonely, Talk and Unremittingly. Eoin Miller

Opening the evening is Dundalk artist Keith Dwyer, whose stripped-back original songs should feel perfectly at home in the intimate Fireside setting.

Music begins at 9pm and, as always with Fireside Sessions, admission is completely free.
