In an effort to highlight and protest at the level of gouging , pricefixing from suppliers , cash and carry’s , gas and electric companies etc We have decided to keep the shop closed this Bank holiday Monday. Potato merchants have been given a license to increase there prices at will . In the last 4 weeks they have had more than a 300% increase and NOBODY IS ASKING THEM TO EXPLAIN. All excuses regarding Nitrate rises are just that. Excuses. The recent retirement of the old guard , and takeovers , the upgrades to ALL THERE warehouses and showrooms is most likely the answer . Companies like Coca Cola are not innocent either. Packaging companies have the excuses too. The 500 year plan etc . We will be open as normal on Tuesday please god . But people need to start asking questions, at government level . Our particular style of business is facing a witch hunt for some reason. And it started at the beginning of Covid. Since then they have thrown the kitchen sink at us. Please share and get the word out. Time for the Cartel in power to answer questions .
