Did You Know? India Makes Award-Winning Wine!

At our restaurant, we're proud to bring a taste of modern India to Dublin—not just through our food, but through our wine list too.

This week, we're spotlighting two Indian favourites:

✨ Shiraz – Rich, smooth, and full of dark berry flavours with a hint of spice. A perfect match for tandoori dishes, lamb curries, and anything coming off the grill.

✨ Chenin Blanc – Fresh, vibrant, and beautifully balanced with notes of tropical fruit and citrus. It pairs wonderfully with seafood, lighter curries, and vegetarian favourites.

India's wine industry has been growing rapidly over the last few decades, with vineyards benefiting from unique climates and innovative winemaking techniques. The result? Wines that are winning international awards and surprising wine lovers around the world.

We’re beyond grateful (and just a little smug 😏) to be voted one of the best restaurants around by OpenTable diners.

Turns out feeding people really well does pay off. 🍽️✨

To every guest who booked a table, left a review, recommended us to friends, celebrated milestones with us, or simply came back for “just another bite” - thank you. You made this happen.

And while we’ll absolutely enjoy this humble little brag for a moment… we’re already working on making the next visit even better. Bigger flavors, warmer welcomes, and more reasons to loosen your belt.

See you at the table ❤️

Let’s talk about the undisputed heavyweight champion of the sweet world: Gulab Jamun. 👑

We all know them as those warm, golden-brown spheres of absolute joy swimming in sticky syrup. But did you know there’s actually a bit of delicious history packed into these little bites?

Believe it or not, Gulab Jamun isn't strictly ancient Indian! It actually evolved from a Persian dessert called Luqmat-al-Qadi (which translates to "the judge's morsel"-because even judges couldn't resist them).
When it made its way to South Asia, local chefs put their own spin on it:

"Gulab" comes from the Persian words gol (flower) and ab (water), referencing the rose-infused syrup.

"Jamun" is the Hindi word for the black plum, which matches the size and shape of these treats.

Are you a purist who needs them fresh out of the kitchen and piping hot (maybe with a scoop of vanilla ice cream? 😉), or do you prefer them chilled from the fridge the next day?
