2026 Annual Chawke Group Challenge for The Seasons Challenge Cup ⛳️

What a day on the greens! Last Friday four of our venues went head to head at the Castle Golf Club for the annual Chawke Group Challenge.

The Goat, Searsons, The Dropping Well and The Old Orchard Inn battled it out with plenty of great golf, good craic and of course some good competition along the way.

A huge congratulations to The Goat Bar & Grill on taking home the trophy🏆

Thanks to everyone who took part and made it such a brilliant day!! Many celebrations were had at The Goat after and we are already looking forward to next year’s showdown…⛳️

One of our favourite wh***eys at Searsons 🥃

The Irishman 17 Year Old is an exciting Single Malt resulting from 17 years maturation in a first fill oloroso sherry butt. This highly exclusive expression is limited to just 3 casks per year, making it one of the most sought after bottles on the shelf.

The influence of the sherry cask lingers throughout with warm notes of dark chocolate, toasted oak and sweet cherry raisins. A roller coaster ride from start to finish…. And a fun one, at that.

In 2019, it was awarded overall Irish wh***ey of the year and overall single cask of the year at the Irish Wh***ey Awards. It’s certainly a winner in our eyes 😍
