Friday night we had some sweet musical visitors from Seattle, Oregan and they delighted us with their fiddles and their tunes. Vienna Scheyer and Lennart Jansson were wonderful to listen to and were joined joined by equally enthusiastic players from Dundalk in the person of Sárán Mulligan on concertina, Muirine Nic Roinín from Wicklow on another fiddle, Peter McKenna from Monaghan mon accordian and Alan O’Donoghue on uilleann pipes. Other musicians joined the session and gave us one of those forever enjoyable nights of musical pleasure. Seattle recalls her fiddle players on Sunday, but we have many spakling exponents here to keep us well and truly entertained in the future

Simon Mc Bride, taking a break from playing the flute on Friday afternoon to sing a great song. No end to this man’s talent……

Unfortunate, regrettable but understandable. Hope you get better soon

Dublin City Fleadh, 2026, and more great music in Capel Street, with concertina player, Éabha and her dad Neillidh Mulligan on uilleann pipes. Marvellous to hear such great music in one of the premier shopping areas in the City. Certainly a lot better than the usual background music in shopping malls
