Some dreams take sleepless nights, early mornings, and more doubt than you'd ever admit out loud.

This one took all of that, and then some.
Being recognised by is something I genuinely don't have the words for. You work, you push, you believe even when it's hard to, and then one day, someone sees it. Really sees it.

We started Lar Café with nothing but a dream, a passion for our culture, and the hope that people would feel what we were trying to give them. And today, that hope has a name on it.

To John and Sally, thank you. Not just for the recognition, but for making us believe that what we do truly matters. This is for every sleepless night, every early morning, and everyone who walked through our doors and made this dream possible. 🤍

Meet Marcelo,

The heart and soul of Lar Café. A Culinary and coffee lover, Marcelo graduated in gastronomy in 2010 and honed his craft for 13 years in Dublin’s finest restaurants and hospitality venues, always holding a coffee in his hand and mind. Today, he's living his dream, welcoming guests to his own place. Lar, meaning "Home" in his native language, is a tribute to comfort food, inviting us all to take a trip down memory lane and savor the flavors of family meals and homemade treats.
I hope you all feel welcome and make yourself at home, because this is just the beginning of our relationship.
