How we make our Guinness bread. 🍞🤎

Mixed from scratch, baked in-house and made by the people behind our kitchen every day.

It’s the kind of detail you might not always see when you visit Jay Kay — but it’s part of what makes every plate that little bit more special.

Freshly baked and ready for your next breakfast. ☕️

Before the doors open, the day has already begun. 🤎

While Dublin is still waking up, our team is here — lights on, coffee brewing, pastries ready, the kitchen moving and every little detail coming together for the day ahead.

It’s the part of Jay Kay you don’t always get to see.

The early starts, the busy hands and the people behind every coffee, every plate and every morning with us.

All before your first coffee. ☕️

First time in Dublin? Welcome...You picked a good day.

It's 21 degrees, the city looks absolutely stunning, and tonight Riverdance is on at the Gaiety Theatre which is genuinely one of the most Irish things you can experience
on this island.

But before you do ANY of that — you need a Full Irish Breakfast. It's not optional. It's basically the law.

At Jay Kay's Café, we're a family-run spot right in the heart of Dublin City Centre, and we've been sending visitors out into the city properly fuelled since 7:30am
every single morning.

2 sausages. Black & white pudding. Crispy bacon. Fried egg. Baby potatoes. Beans. Sourdough toast. Ballymaloe relish.

All freshly made...Nothing out of a packet...The most Irish thing you'll eat all trip.

Come find us...we're 2 minutes from O'Connell Street and there's always a table and a warm welcome waiting.

Right...Like everyone else...We need to talk about this weather.

25 degrees in Dublin...In July...We genuinely don't know what to do with ourselves.

The Liffey is sparkling...People are SMILING at strangers...Someone just walked past in flip flops and nobody batted an eyelid.

This is not the Ireland we were raised in.

BUT — while the sun is shining and the whole city is feeling suspiciously happy about life, the Keegan family are here doing what we do best: making sure Dublin is properly fed.

All-day breakfast from 7:30am to 5pm, seven days a week.
Fresh, family-made, and guaranteed to set you up for whatever this mad summer throws at you next.

Dublin this weekend...Take That at the Aviva, Longitude at
Marlay Park, and the Sun is allegedly making an appearance️!

You know what this calls for?

The Full Irish Breakfast...Obviously!

At Jay Kay's, we've been fuelling Dublin since 7:30am — every single day — and we'll keep going until 5pm. Which means whether you're a "rise and shine" person or more of a "shine is negotiable" type, we've got a table for you.

Family-run...Freshly made...and we also won't judge you for humming "Back for Good" while you eat your sausages.

Come in. Sit down. Eat something that would make your mammy proud.
