What’s on in Dublin: Ballsbridge Edition, October 2026 🍂
We reckon you’ve got the Bram Stoker Festival on your schedule already, but if you’re looking for plans to make before the Halloween festivities start, there’s plenty going on in our neighbourhood this October.
If you’ve got your Halloween plans sorted and want some things to do until then, here’s your list of music, theatre, comedy, and sport events happening this month at venues within a 30 minute walk of the Schoolhouse, including Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, 3Arena, AVIVA Stadium, RDS, and Gaiety Theatre.

Bord Gáis Energy Theatre is just down the road from us, and there’s still time to catch a show of the award-winning Matilda: the Musical from the Royal Shakespeare Company, concluding with a chilled performance version on 18th October.
Next up is the musical High Society from Trafalgar Entertainment running 20th-24th October, followed by a concert from bestselling classical artist Katherine Jenkins on 25th October.
For the rugby fans, Leinster has two matches right in our neighbourhood this month, facing off with Cardiff at RDS on 10th October, then with Munster at the AVIVA on 24th October. Stop by the Schoolhouse for a pre match pint or fuel up with our match day menu 🍻
3Arena has a busy concert schedule this month, and at just a 30 minute walk away, we’re in a great spot for your dinner and drinks before the gig or your hotel stay after.
Gaiety Theatre is an easy walk from us and also has a busy schedule for October, including several Dublin Theatre Festival performances and a great comedy lineup.
