According to a legend, first discovery of tea is assigned to a Chinese emperor Shennong who liked his water to be boiled before drinking. One day, as he stopped with his army for a refreshment and rest, his servant begun boiling water for him to drink. However, the servant didn’t notice a dead leaf from a tea bush falling into the water as it was boiling and he served it to his emperor anyway. Once the emperor drank it, he found it very refreshing and cha knowns as tea was born.
