Week two of DLR Summerfest is on at Walters.

Upstairs, it’s Army Dreamers, The Amy Winehouse Experience, Santana Experience, The Roadhouse Doors and Oliver Cole.

Downstairs, our regulars keep the week rolling too. From our usual jazz sessions and some of our favourite bands this week, there’s plenty to keep Dún Laoghaire moving.

Big week down at Walters. The Dún Laoghaire Summerfest kicks off this weekend and we're proud to be one of its venues 🎶

Upstairs at The Venue, four ticketed shows across the weekend. Supersonic roll through the Oasis back catalogue on Friday for opening night, and The Brunch Club bring their interactive ABBA singalong on Saturday (dress-up encouraged, and you can join them on stage). Sunday is a double bill: blues legend Rob Strong and his band play an afternoon matinee, then Phelim Drew honours his father Ronnie with 'Remembering Ronnie', the songs and stories of The Dubliners. There's plenty more next weekend, with Kate Bush, Amy Winehouse, Santana and The Doors all to come.

Downstairs stays free all week as always!

The World Cup knockouts are on the big screens too, so you can catch the evening games over a pint. The kitchen's Medallion Steak in mushroom sauce is worth arriving early for, with an Espresso Martini to follow.

The long await is over, the DLR Summerfest is here at Walters🎶

Ten ticketed shows land upstairs at The Venue from Fri 3 to Sun 12 July.
Tributes: Oasis, ABBA, Kate Bush, Amy Winehouse, Santana and The Doors.
Plus Phelim Drew's 'Remembering Ronnie', Aideen McQueen’s comedy gala, The Muglins and Oliver Cole to close the run.

Downstairs stays free all month, with old friends on every stage 🎷

What a Saturday. 🎸

Sun was out, the World Cup was on and loads of birthdays. Johnny Rayge brought the band and his birthday to Walters, and it felt like half of Dún Laoghaire came with him, happy birthday again Johnny! Thanks everyone who came in to celebrate their days, nights like that are the whole point.

We're also waving off two of our own. Anna is heading away on a big adventure for a few months, so we're keeping her seat warm until she's back. And Claudia, one of the cheeriest faces at Walters, is moving on to her next chapter. It won't be quite as smiley around here without her.

Don't be strangers both of you. 🧡
