Serving great coffee to passengers from all over the world takes more than a good machine.

Aer Arann Islands in Inverin, Co. Galway, needed a self-service coffee system with contactless payment and a brand their international passengers would recognise. We installed a Franke A400 serving Lavazza coffee, fresh milk and hot chocolate, paired with Nayax contactless payment.

Separate passenger and staff menus are managed through the Nayax app. Franke’s remote platform also lets us update prices, fine-tune recipes and monitor servicing without an engineer visit.

When does pumpkin spice season start? Earlier than you might think.

In 2015, the Pumpkin Spice Latte launched around 8 September. This year, the major chains brought it back on 25 August. Customers now expect autumn flavours from late summer right through to the end of October.

That gives cafés, hotels and workplaces a longer window to offer a seasonal favourite, and there is still plenty of the season left.

Looking for an espresso with real body and a story your customers can feel good about?

Lavazza La Reserva de ¡Tierra! Brasile is a medium roast blend of Brazilian Arabica and Robusta, with notes of dark chocolate, cane sugar and nuts. It works just as well as a straight espresso as it does with milk.

It comes from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms, and it supports small coffee-farming communities in Sul de Minas Gerais through the Lavazza Foundation.
