Behind Mairéad’s Café is a team of people who work incredibly hard, especially through the busy summer months and this week it was time to swap the café for a night out and say a very well-deserved thank you.

To my team and the friends who are always there to lend a hand and support me, thank you for everything you do.

For the early starts, busy days, helping hands, laughs, teamwork and for always being there when we need you.

A small business really does rely on the people behind it, and I'm very lucky to have such a great group around me.

With weather like this, lunch somewhere cosy sounds like a very good idea...

Come in out of the rain, settle in and let us brighten up a miserable day with something tasty.

Our Vegetarian Deluxe is toasted until golden, packed with flavour and served with fresh salad and homemade coleslaw, just one of plenty of delicious lunch choices waiting for you.

Add a hot coffee and maybe a little something sweet afterwards, and suddenly the weather doesn't seem quite so bad!

📢 A little shout out for our bread & scone lovers 🍞...

Our homemade breads and freshly baked scones have a habit of disappearing from the shelves, particularly as the day goes on.

We know it’s disappointing when you call in especially for your favourites only to find we’ve sold out, so if you know you’d like our bread, tea brack or our scones, we really recommend ordering ahead.

Simply send us a message or give us a call and we’ll make sure your order is kept aside for you to collect.

That way, no crossing your fingers when you arrive, your favourites will be waiting for you 🫶

Please give us a few hours notice so we can be sure to have them ready as we cannot guarantee if it's later in the day.
