It's book quiz time!

Since last week's question went unanswered - the correct answer was covering the poor dog in phosphorus - we'll try a slightly easier question this week, and the first TWO customers to give the correct answer get a free coffee.

This week's question: what is the name of the narrator of The Catcher in the Rye?

It's Wednesday so that means it's book quiz time again! The first customer to give the correct answer (in person) gets a free coffee.

This weeks question: In The Hound of the Baskervilles, how is the eponymous hound given it’s unearthly appearance?

Wednesday also means our special sandwich today is the Meatball sub - just the thing to warm you up in this miserable weather.

Anyone who's tasted our coffee knows it's something pretty special, and it's all thanks to these guys. Pónaire is an Irish artisan coffee roaster based in Limerick. They hand roast all their beans in small batches, and the care they take certainly shows through in the coffee. Their Peruvian Organic Blend (a favourite of our customers) won two gold stars at the great taste awards in London this year. So why not drop in and try it?

Pónaire (Irish for Bean) was started by Tommy & Jennifer Ryan in 2006. The only commercial Coffee Roaster in the MidWest with 15+ yrs expertise. We import our own green (raw) beans and hand roast and blend them to create delicious award-winning coffees

Note: Only answers in person will be accepted.

This weeks question: In Swift’s classic novel Gulliver’s Travels, Gulliver spends time on a gigantic floating island, what is the name of this island?

A time-related quote for a time-related post!

We want to inform everyone that we're changing our opening hours as of next week. We're going to be closed on Monday's from now on, but to make up for it we'll now be open from 9am to 6:30pm Tuesday-Saturday.

So why not pop in for a coffee and a treat after work? Like one of our intensely chocolatey brownies (they also happen to be gluten free!).
