We recevived very sad news this weekend that our friend, work colleague and customer Fred Finlay passed away after battling illness in the past few months . Fred was a lovely gent and the best Cellar manager I have ever worked with, determined , strong as an ox , and always willing to go that extra yard , meticulous with his work regarding proper keg rotation and temperature , one of the reasons Guinness in The Kings Inn is epic , if cleaners were not available Fred would step up and do his thing a pure machine, same for any of the festivals he made sure everything ran smoothly no matter how long or hard the day was . As a customer he reminded me of myself liked a drink a bet a laugh and a slagging . He was very good at slagging 😀. As a friend he would always check in with you even though you were his boss and relate to everything that was going on in both our lives. RIP Fred will miss you loads hope you are up there with Tony , Ned and Eve having a giggle at us all , you will be sadly missed another legend to depart . Adios Fred love ya
