Daniel Patrick arrives in Donegal at the peak of a landmark year. A Billboard Top 10 recording artist and Bluegrass Unlimited cover artist, Daniel has established himself as one of the world’s leading mandolin players. His acclaimed podcast, Mandolins and Beer, has surpassed 2.5 million downloads, and his expertise has recently been captured in his newly released instructional book.

Join us for an unforgettable evening at McGrory's backroom with Charles James and The Rise. The band is based in Donegal Ireland. Their music is influenced by the darker side of folk and the more haunting elements of choral music.

Past highlights include being named Highland Radio’s winner in Hot Press’ A New Local Hero in 2023. 2024 single Carry On was named Hot Press’ Track of the Day upon release and also saw the band named one of Rolling Stone Magazine’s (ES) 20 Artists You Should Know.

2025 saw the band showcase at Your Roots Are Showing festival, release their debut album along with an Irish headline tour including a special guest appearance on RTE Radio 1’s Sunday with Miriam.

The band have supported acts such as Mundy, Gavin James, Blue Rose Code, Moya Brennan and Padraig Jack among others.
