As students finally return to college, we have received numerous texts about a reopening date.

Currently, we do not have a set opening date as we have previously stated, we do not want to open unless we can provide the complete Red Horse Inn experience, restrictions free.

GOOD NEWS!!!!!
Hello from the Red Horse Team, its been a minute. I hope all of ye haven't missed the bar too much. The last year has been long... to say the least.
As restrictions are currently starting to ease, an end date seems to be in sight.
We are currently aiming to be open again for September 2021, back just in time to enjoy freshers week the way we used to, with great deals and great music.
Watch this space, exciting days to come.

After careful consideration we have decided we are not opening today and we are closed until further notice.
In the interest of our staff and customers health and safety it is best to close.
We are strongly encouraging our customers and students to please not take this as a holiday and please please adhere to all the HSE guidelines.

We look forward to opening our doors again in better and happier times in the near future.

Located between UCC and St Finbarrs Cathedral on the corner of Gilabbey Street and 98 St (Old Hospital Lane), we’re a friendly, welcoming bar popular with students and locals alike.

We host regular live music, live sports on a number of TV’s and darts events and serve a range of Beers, Whiskeys and Gins.

Food is also available in the bar, in conjunction with La Tana Pizzeria, so you’ve absolutely no excuse not to call!
