September specials are here at Arthur Mayne's, bringing a fresh batch of seasonal dishes and our latest w**e pairing 🍷

For lunch, we're serving up creamy Whipped Goat's Cheese topped with sweet Confit Tomatoes and Crispy Leeks, piled high on toasted sourdough.

For dinner, tuck into perfectly Pan-Seared Duck Breast paired with a rich Blackberry & Apple Sauce, smooth Parsnip Purée, and vibrant Leek Oil.

To top it all off, our W**e of the Month is the Jardin Camille Syrah/Grenache from Côtes Du Rhône, France—a smooth, elegant pour that balances the menu beautifully 🍇

We'd like to thank CorkOnAForkFest, Upstairs - Craft Cocktail Bar, Old Town Taqueria, 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐲'𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐫 , ORSO, The Imperial Hotel Cork, The Bookshelf. We're incredibly grateful for every early start, late finish, creative idea and helping hand. It truly takes a community to bring an event like this to life, and Cork showed up in the best possible way. 👏👏

We've got some serious treats lined up for you this month at Arthur Maynes, and we're pretty excited about how these flavours came together.

For dinner, we've got our house-made lamb kofta 🧆. We're mixing minced lamb with garlic, onion, a kick of chilli flakes, and loads of fresh coriander and mint 🌿. It’s rich and properly spiced, so we're serving it with a vibrant beetroot hummus made from scratch with chickpeas and tahini, plus a cool, refreshing minted Greek yogurt to tie it all together 🥣.

If you're dropping in for lunch, try the grilled chicken and pear bagel. We take a toasted seeded bagel and layer it with sliced chicken breast, sweet grilled pear, and a rich whipped ricotta and goat's cheese blend, spiked with lemon zest 🍋. To finish it off, there's a crunch from crushed pistachios and a generous drizzle of hot honey 🍯 for that sweet-and-spicy kick 🌶️.

To wash it all down, we're pouring the Blanco Nieva and Martúe Verdejo from the Rueda region in Spain 🍷. Rueda is famous for cracking out some of the crispest, most refreshing white w**es in Spain

Welcome to the Cork Ska & Reggae Festival 2026 in Crane Lane Theatre & The Pavilion! 🎺🎶🌴

Get ready for an unforgettable weekend of infectious rhythms, outstanding live performances, and a celebration of the very best in ska and reggae music from Thursday 23rd July to Sunday 26th July 2026. Best of all, all festival events are completely free in, giving everyone the chance to soak up the incredible atmosphere.

Since its beginnings in 2017, the Cork Ska & Reggae Festival has brought together music lovers from across the city and beyond, filling a gap in the local scene and creating a true "One Love" festival experience. Two iconic Cork venues, The Crane Lane Theatre and The Pavilion, once again join forces to showcase an exciting mix of local and international talent.

Over the years, the festival has welcomed acclaimed acts including The Beat featuring Ranking Roger, Zion Train, Dreadzone, Junior Bill, The Beat featuring Ranking Jnr, Pontious Pilate & The Naildrivers, The Service, Skazz, and many more. Continuing its tradition of supporting both emerging and established artists, the festival promises another fantastic weekend of live music with free entry throughout.
