This week's completion is similar. Last Saturday you came out to Cork City in your droves, and it was a joy to see Patrick Street, Emmet Place and all the side street thronged. Truth to tell we haven't seen that in many a day...
Of late Cork City had lost its People Long before COVID, too many people said they "never go into Cork City anymore". Maybe it's because there are no holidays but last Saturday people came out in Cork City as families, couples, individuals hugging an ice cream, slurping a coffee, eating a donut! and Doing Pana. People were just observing life go by in Cork and giving the odd social distant "salute" to an old friend. Lovely to see, and fingers crossed it will continue. Cork City can only get back on its feet by you using your feet, and doing a bit of Pana!
