Never have we had a dish that has garnered so many ‘hand to mouth’ moments - Someone once had two more after their dessert just so it was the last thing they tasted before they left. Out in print today! Really, really, really special to be in The Irish Times Weekend supplement this morning. We, as a team, have poured so much in to this space and to see it not only laid out like this but with such words behind it is something we could have only dreamed of when we switched the oven on day one. They say if you do what you love then you won’t work a day in your life..and honestly, without sounding soppy, it feels like just that.

It’s officially orange wine season, well…so we think, but then again there’s a lot that’s tastes perfect in this weather. If you’re new to this wild colour in a bottle then this one is a great way to get your toes wet. This ‘Esotico’ from grapecircuswine has 13 different grape varieties and zips around the mouth with notes of dried strawberry, juicy tangerine, some small white blossoms and some tactile salinity to seal the deal. Even better, it’s always by the glass.
We are absolutely buzzing to be back on the Coal Quay this week with bookings as normal through the link in our bio. Summer is kicking off, welcome back yo!

Resurrecting moments from last years chef takeover…The Cuttlefish Bun. Rich braised Cuttlefish Ragu on the inside, light & crispy bun on the outside with some “knock-your-pants-off” Nduja Cream to swim in. You can try to share, but you’ll regret it. 🤟🏼
