We will be remaining opened for the whole winter

A few changes at The Last Drop, with your feedback at the heart of them.

We’re reopening the original Snug entrance, making it easier to pop in for a drink. Our restaurant entrance remains the main welcome point for dining guests, and whichever brings you through our doors, we want you to feel at home.

Our updated restaurant service times and Snug opening hours are in the images above or below. And you can count on us to stay open for our full advertised hours, even on quieter days.

There’s plenty happening with our menus too:

Rory & Ondrej are working on changes to our current menu, coming in the days ahead.

Darren, formerly of Café Vega, is creating our new lunch menu — coming soon, Thursday–Sunday, 12 noon–4pm.

Our new drinks menu launches on 20th October, with new cocktails and w**es.

Our Christmas menu begins on 23rd November.

Here at the last drop it’s imperative that all our customers are comfortable, at ease and most importantly enjoying themselves.

That’s why we created ‘The Snug’.
It has its own seperate entrance at the end of the steps, a burning stove, comfy seating areas, a huge selection of drinks & a TV for all the sports you can dream of.

A perfect place to unwind.

Apparently, November is meant to be a popular month for dolphins here in Cobh.

We highly recommend a glass of w**e, a chicken supreme and a perfect view of some of the most amazing animals 🌊

A little time for our team

We’ll be finishing a little earlier today, with last orders at 4pm and closing from 6pm for our staff party.

A huge thank you for all your support throughout our first summer, today is about celebrating the incredible team behind The Last Drop.

Also closed Monday & Tuesday for a deep clean and essential maintenance.

After a brilliant summer, it’s time to give something back to the team who made it all happen.

This Sunday, 4th October, we’ll be finishing a little earlier than usual so our team can enjoy a well earned staff party together.

Sunday 4th October
Last orders: 4pm
Closed from: 6pm

We’ll also be closed Monday 5th & Tuesday 6th October for a full deep clean and essential maintenance, before reopening refreshed and ready for the months ahead.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported The Last Drop throughout our first summer, our locals, visitors and everyone who walked through our doors. We genuinely appreciate it.

And, of course, a massive thank you to our team. They’ve worked incredibly hard through a very busy first season, and Sunday is about them.

We’ve been sharing plenty of updates from our new sister venue, The First Drop, and while the delays in getting those doors open have certainly tested our patience, we know it will be worth the wait.

And there is one thing we can confirm, The First Drop will be open for Christmas!

Which means this Christmas, we can finally bring The First Drop & The Last Drop together for something very special.

A Christmas Experience in Cobh

Your evening begins at The First Drop, overlooking Casement Square, with Prosecco or w**e, festive nibbles and our resident pianist playing your favourite Christmas classics.

Then it’s a short stroll down through Cobh to The Last Drop, where your table awaits for a three-course Christmas dinner overlooking Cork Harbour.
