❤️ A new chapter for Driver’s @ The 19th ❤️

This post took some time because Driver’s has been such a huge part of our lives for so many years (and still is and always will be) 🙂

After a lot of thought, Sadhbh and I have decided it’s time to take a little time for ourselves, travel, experience something new and pursue a new opportunity. 🌍

That next adventure is Dubai 🇦🇪

While we’re stepping away from the day to day, we’re not saying goodbye to Driver’s. We will continue to be very much involved, and as owner, I will be working very close with the team from the distance to ensure everything remains as you expect 🤝

We’re incredibly grateful to every customer who has supported us, returned time and time again, recommended us and trusted us with so many special occasions. 🥳

From birthdays and weddings to engagements, christenings, Christmases and nights out, you’ve helped create memories that we’ll carry with us wherever life takes us. 🌍

We’re also delighted to announce that Katie will be taking the reins as Driver’s full-time Restaurant manager. 👏

Katie has been part of the Driver’s family for six years and has become such an important part of the business, the team and the experience we’ve always wanted to create.

We couldn’t think of anyone better to take Driver’s forward, and we know she’ll do an incredible job. ☺️

We’ll be keeping a close eye on things from Dubai, with the help of everyone back in the restaurant, and hope you’ll continue to support Katie and the entire Drivers team as always ❤️

Please join us in wishing Katie the very best of luck in her new role. She deserves it. 🙌🏻

For Sadhbh and me, this is an emotional change, but also an incredibly exciting one. Life is too short not to follow your passions, embrace new experiences and take a chance on something different ✈️

So, we’re heading to Dubai to begin our next chapter. 🏙️

Driver’s will always hold a very special place in our hearts, and we’ll never forget the people, memories and moments that made it what it is.

Thank you for being part of our journey. 🙏

Here’s to the next chapter for Driver’s, and the next chapter for us.

Don’t know where to start or what to say - devastated to hear the news! Was always one of my worries for you - you knew everyone but felt so alone. You had your battles. But you helped everyone, and sadly couldn’t help yourself 💔
Hospitality is a place where your team, your workers, no matter how much you might not think, they become family.
Robbie began with us, way way back in the bunker days,
And came along the way all the way upto Drivers here where he went to work in Boston! I could ask Robbie to do anything for me, and he would. Robbie deserves this little post, as a mark of appreciation for all he did for us. We wish there was more we could have done for you! You are at peace now tho 💔❤️
